
Tuna Melt Sandwich

- 1/4 cup SIMON JOHNSON Cornichons, chopped
- 1.5 tbsp SIMON JOHNSON Dijon Mustard
- 3 tbsp SIMON JOHNSON Mayonnaise
- 2 x 92g Ortiz Yellow Fin Tuna tin
- 3 tbsp chopped chives
- Lescure French Cultured Butter
- Bread, allow 2-3 slices per person
- 150g Kaseswiss Raclette, sliced or your favourite melting cheese
Instructions
- InstructionsMake the Tuna FillingIn a mixing bowl, combine the chopped cornichons, Dijon mustard, mayonnaise, Ortiz tuna, and chives. Stir gently to combine.
- Assemble the SandwichesButter one side of each slice of bread. Heap a generous layer of the tuna mixture on the unbuttered side and top with a thick layer of raclette cheese. Close the sandwich with the remaining bread slices, buttered side out.
- Grill the SandwichesHeat a non-stick skillet or grill pan over medium heat. Place sandwiches in the pan and cook until the bread is golden and crisp, about 3–4 minutes per side, and the raclette is melted and gooey.
- ServeSlice in half and serve warm. Optional: add a few extra cornichons on the side for a tangy crunch.
