Damson Paste

Damson plums evoke the English countryside perhaps more than any other fruit as they bejewel the hedgerows in late summer and early autumn. This dense damson paste is a lovely tart accompaniment to cheese. It works particularly well with rich, buttery cheeses and goat’s cheese.
