Maltilda’s Lemongrass & Ginger Tea

$34.95

With “MATILDA,” Monista Tea Co. adds this luxe Aussie brew to their “World’s Most Beautiful Tea” range & supports important bushfire recovery projects Inspired by the unique beauty of the Australian bush. Fusing the zesty flavours of lemongrass and ginger with the gentle eucalyptus of Australian lemon myrtle, Matilda is a luxe take on a much-loved classic.

Monista Tea Co sources Australian lemon myrtle from a sub-tropical tree grown mainly in Queensland used in indigenous culture for thousands of years in cooking and as a traditional remedy. It has a distinct lemony citrus flavour infused with eucalyptus, and is the perfect pairing to the peppery notes of lemongrass and ginger. Matilda is 100% organic and is the ideal non-caffeinated pick me up – or for those times when you’re feeling under the weather, drizzled generously with pure Australian bush honey.

Matilda’s sunset pink canister featuring a majestic cockatoo with outstretched wings is a nod to the bushfire devastation that has taken an immense toll on Australian wildlife when 1.25 billion animals perished earlier this year. (wwf.org.au). In response to this tragedy Monista Tea Co. have joined the WWF Australia and become a Partner in Conservation, proudly supporting WWF Australia with ongoing bushfire recovery projects. Projects that are currently underway include protecting the last remaining Kangaroo Island glossy black cockatoos that were on the brink of extinction even before the bushfires arrived. This work is critical for the survival of this incredible bird.
