
Peach Granita
This Peach Granita is cool, peachy perfection. Blend summer peaches from El Navarrico with basil — to make the ultimate refreshment for warm days. Serve with our crumbled Limoncello Amaretti for an extra luxe treat.Â

Ingredients
- 6 El Navarrico Whole Peaches in Syrup (2 x 700g jars)
- peach syrup from 1 jar (reserve the other for drinks or desserts)
- 3-4 fresh basil leaves, adjust according to taste
To Serve
- SJ Limoncello Amaretti, crumbled on top and/or serve on the side
- fresh lime wedges, to garnish
- fresh basil leaves, to garnish
Instructions
- Remove stone from peaches and discard. Roughly halve and quarter each peach.
- In a food processor, blend the peaches, reserved syrup from one jar, and basil leaves, until smooth.
- Pour into a shallow dish and freeze until semi-set (approx 1 hour 30 minutes).
- Scrape surface of the tray with a fork to create fluffy ice crystals, refreeze until firm. Repeat the process 2 times, or until desired consistency is achieved.
- Spoon granita into chilled serving glasses, or individual bowls.
- Garnish with lime wedges, basil leaves, and a sprinkle of crumbled amaretti on top. Serve remaining amaretti on the side.
