Nostalgic Chocolate Pudding
Nostalgia meets chocolate in this classic pudding, made with Valrhona Manjari 64% Chocolate and Valrhona Cocoa Powder. Delicious on its own, or with an extra dollop of cherries & cream, it's made to be shared with love.

- 4-6 Pudding or Dariole moulds
Ingredients
- 3 cups full cream milk
- 100g Valrhona Chocolate Manjari 64%
- 2 tbsp Valrhona Cocoa Powder
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
- 1 vanilla pod, halved & split
- 1/3 cup cornflour, make a slurry with 2 tbsp of water
To serve
- Meander Valley Dairy Double Cream
- cherries, to decorate
Instructions
- Heat milk in a medium saucepan over a gentle heat, once milk has warmed through add the chocolate and stir until melted.
- Add vanilla pod to the chocolate mixture and allow to infuse.
- Add sugar, salt and cocoa powder to the saucepan and stir.
- Remove from the heat and gradually add the cornstarch until all the mixture is combined. Return to heat and continue to cook until mixture thickens.
- Pour pudding mixture into individual moulds and allow to chill overnight in the fridge.
To serve
- Garnish puddings with a dollop of cream and top with a cherry to serve
